"A Summer School of Christian Faith"
About the Timetable & Courses
From the 11 courses on offer, participants can select a total of FOUR courses to follow for the week - one from each of the Series A, B, C and D.
However please note there is one weeklong course consisting of 8 sessions - A2/C2 (Gerry Hughes) - which counts as two courses. So those participants choosing A2/C2 can only also choose ONE other course from Series B and ONE from Series D).
Several of the lecturers are offering two courses. They are not the same lectures repeated twice, but may be on related topics so could be combined to make up one week long course or they can be chosen separately as each is a complete course in its own right. Please see the Timetable and individual Course details for full information.

Accommodation
As usual, we have our fully residential Summer School, which in addition to the courses and Plenary Talks, includes accommodation, and all meals.
The courses and Plenary Talks are also open to non-residential day participants, but meals and accommodation are not included. We hope that local people will take the opportunity to come along to join us each day, and others may wish to stay with friends or in accommodation locally.
Rooms are of varied standard and various sizes reflecting the nature of the buildings. Accommodation will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. For prices and options, please see booking form.
Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings or in the grounds.
The Living Theology Summer School is always a very friendly place, and if this is your first visit, we hope you will soon make many new friends. There will be various opportunities to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee or even a drink, as well as the chance to enjoy a walk in the College grounds. Use of the excellent swimming pool and gym may be arranged.

Liturgy
The shared liturgies are a very important part of Living Theology, and their success is largely dependent on the involvement of participants. Please bring any musical instruments.

There will be a bookshop available mid-week for a limited time. However, it is recommended that participants bring a Jerusalem Bible (study edition in paperback) and also check for any specific requirements for their chosen courses.
